In the Chemical Sciences paper, candidates need to answer 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Parts A, B, and C. While questions in Parts A and B carry two points each, those in Part C are worth four points each. If a candidate answers a question incorrectly, there is a 25% deduction. Similarly, in the Earth Sciences paper, candidates have to attempt 75 MCQs from Parts A, B, and C. However, incorrect responses in Parts A and B result in a negative marking of 25%, while those in Part C attract a negative marking of 33%. The Life Sciences paper also requires candidates to try their hands on 75 MCQs from Parts A, B, and C, with an identical negative marking of 25% for wrong answers.
