By 1921, he had left his college and united in patriotism. Had become even more revolutionary, Bhagat Singh had resolved to kill Scott, the British officer responsible for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, but he unknowingly killed another British officer, after Bhagat Singh went to Lahore after escaping from the British.
After this, under the Defense of India Act, the police were now arresting people by stopping any procession related to the police suspect, Bhagat Singh strongly opposed this act and after that, this act was passed inside the central assembly. Plans were being made to pass, followed by a plan to throw bombs with Batukeshwar, under this plan, there was no motive to harm any people but the purpose of intimidation and warning within the government.
Batukeshwar Dutt and Bhagat Singh fulfilled their plan on 8 April 1929 and did not flee from the spot but were deliberately arrested, after that they were taken to jail but even there they continued their agitation and attacked the prisoners. He went on a hunger strike for the atrocities being committed.
Bhagat Singh used to intimidate the British government even while living inside the bars of the jail, due to this fear, the British government sentenced Bhagat Singh Sukhdev and Rajguru to death on 7 October 1930.
Every effort was made by the politicians of India to avoid this punishment, but on 23 March 1931, all three were hanged, even though these heroes were hanged, but even today the country remembers them all the time. He is remembered on the historical occasion because he had contributed a lot to the independence of the country.
