Standard features in the Carnival include push-button start, remote start, an 8-inch touch screen, a six-speaker stereo, HD Radio, Bluetooth, seven USB ports, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
Available features include dual sunroofs, tri-zone automatic climate control, an in-vehicle intercom, a passenger-view camera, a 12.3-inch touch screen, navigation, an eight-speaker audio system, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, satellite radio, additional USB ports, wireless device charging, and a rear-seat entertainment system.
The Carnival features Kia’s UVO infotainment system, which is user-friendly and simple to master. The standard touch screen is decently sized, and higher trims come with the 12.3-inch display. The touch screen isn’t as responsive as some users would like, but it works well, and there are physical controls for some functions. Climate controls depend on which trim you get; lower trims have easy-to-use physical controls, while upper trims feature a panel of haptic-feedback buttons, which aren’t as user-friendly.
There are handy features if you have little ones as well. You can opt for an in-vehicle intercom, which lets you communicate with those in the rear seats without shouting, and you can add a rear-seat camera so that you can see everything that’s going on.
